CEREMONIES & EVENTS
NEOMED celebrates the many milestones in our students education while preparing to become a future health care professional. Some of these include:
WHITE COAT CEREMONY
The White Coat Ceremonie celebrates an important milestone in the lives of first-year medicine students, who begin a new chapter in their journey of lifelong learning. White coats are symbolic of the professionalism that is expected of students during medical school and as physicians.
This ceremony reaffirms the community’s support of the educational process that prepares future health care professionals for practice. On this day, students pledge their commitment to their professions and to the health of the patients they will serve.
MATCH DAY
In March, the College of Medicine celebrates with fourth-year medicine students and students across the country as they learn where they will go to receive specialty training in their chosen field.
COMMENCEMENT
Commencement is an exciting time for graduates from the Colleges of Medicine, Pharmacy and Graduate Studies. Graduation from NEOMED represents a major accomplishment in your life and the lives of your families.
