We offer four admission plans for prospective students who want to become a physician.

The Early Assurance Program

If you are interested in:

  • Reserving your seat in medical school as a college sophomore
  • Attending Baldwin-Wallace, Hiram College, Kent State University or The University of Akron as an undergraduate student
  • Attending Cleveland State University through the CSU-NEOMED Partnership for Urban Health as an undergraduate student
  • Attending Youngstown State University as an undergraduate student in the YSU Bacc./Med program

The Post-Baccalaureate Early Assurance Program

If you are interested in:

  • Building upon your existing bachelor’s degree as a college graduate by strengthening your academic preparation to succeed in medical school
  • Entering medical school and becoming a doctor as a second career from the medical field
  • Practicing as a community-based doctor in an urban setting in a primary care field such as family medicine
  • Participating in distinctive hands-on, co-curricular service and shadowing opportunities and pre-medicine courses at Cleveland State University exclusively for CSU-NEOMED Partnership for Urban Health students
