NEOMED’s Doctor of Medicine degree curriculum is designed to develop the characteristics that people want to see in their physicians: competence, communication, caring, curiosity, character and a commitment to community.
How to apply
If you plan to apply to medical school after earning your undergraduate or graduate degree, or during your final year of your bachelor’s degree, start by completing the American Medical College Application Service or AMCAS application.

Application steps
Students can apply to NEOMED using the AMCAS application as early as June 1 of the year preceding anticipated enrollment in medical school.
Step 1
Fill out your AMCAS application, and select NEOMED as a school to receive the application.
Step 2
Once your application has been verified by AMCAS, NEOMED may send you an invitation to complete your secondary application beginning on or about July 31 and on a rolling basis thereafter until one week prior to the NEOMED supplemental application deadline. There is a $95 fee for the secondary application.
Note: NEOMED secondary application is by invitation only following screening and review of AMCAS applications. Begin your medical school application through AMCAS.
Step 3
Watch for email notification that your file is complete. Interview invitations are sent via AMCAS between September and March.

Letters of evaluation are neither required nor accepted for this program.
MCAT requirements
NEOMED will not accept MCAT scores older than three years at the time the AMCAS application is available for the application cycle.
Application fee and fee waivers
As an applicant seeking admission to NEOMED, you are required to pay a non-refundable supplemental application fee of $95. You’ll pay the fee through AMCAS when you submit your supplemental application.
You may qualify for a supplemental application fee waiver if you qualified for a fee waiver through AMCAS. Follow the instructions on the NEOMED supplemental application to receive the fee waiver.
