Our Alumni Spotlight is Megan Adelman (’15), PharmD, BCPS, BCGP, CDE! Dr. Adelman is currently an assistant professor of Clinical Pharmacy at the West Virginia University School of Pharmacy.

Dr. Adelman was voted as one of four outstanding teachers in the School of Pharmacy in 2019! Each year, student pharmacists get the opportunity to vote for their favorite School of Pharmacy professors, with the winners announced at the School’s annual Scholarships and Awards ceremony held each spring.

She was also recently elected to the American Society of Health-System Pharmacists (ASHP) New Practitioners Forum Executive Committee. The forum is comprised of five new practitioners appointed by the ASHP president. The group directs the activities and programs of the forum, as well as advises the organization’s staff on ways to better meet the needs of ASHP’s new practitioner members.

When Dr. Adelman was a student at NEOMED, she was the salutatorian for the class of 2015.
