VITALS with Airica Steed, president and chief executive of MetroHealth

Airica Steed, Ed.D, RN, M.B.A., FACHE, president and CEO of The MetroHealth System, joins VITALS at noon, Thursday, May 2, in Watanakunakorn Auditorium and via Zoom.

Appointed in 2022, Dr. Steed is the first woman, first person of color and first nurse to serve as chief executive officer and president for MetroHealth.

Under her leadership, MetroHealth has grown into an $2 billion health care system with five acute and specialty-care hospitals, almost 9,000 employees and over 40 ambulatory care locations. Dr. Steed has transformed MetroHealth with a people-first culture that incorporates intentional listening, collaboration and empowerment to best serve caregivers, patients and the community.

The talk, free and open to all, will be moderated by Monica Robins, WKYC-TV’s senior health correspondent.

NEOMED Class of 2023 graduates’ tickets are complimentary. Graduates’ RSVP will open late March.
