Interprofessional education is the process by which individuals from two or more health professions learn with, from, and about each other across the spectrum of their education to improve collaboration, practice, and the quality of healthcare.
Interprofessional Education Services
The Office of Interprofessional Education Services (IPES) works in conjunction with the Wasson Center, standardized patients and simulation training to support the mission and goals of NEOMED by providing strategic oversight for a campus-wide focus on aspects of interprofessional education.
Through these collaborations and partnerships, learners acquire knowledge, skills, and attitudes to become culturally and clinically competent providers that practice patient-centered care in a team-based collaborative practice.
