Kirsten Frederiksen, M.D., M.S., medical director of the Mayo Clinic Bariatric Center in Jacksonville, Fla., will join VITALS | Visionary Health Leadership in Action at noon, Thursday, May 7, via Zoom.
Dr. Frederiksen is an internal medicine and obesity medicine specialist with over two decades of experience in clinical care. She completed medical school at the University of Rochester School of Medicine in Rochester, N.Y., where she was elected to the AOA Medical Honor Society, and holds a Master’s in Health Policy and Management from Harvard University. Dr. Frederiksen has served as founder and program director for obesity medicine services at two large health systems and as Director of Clinical Operations at a national all virtual obesity medicine practice.
