Support our Faculty

As you know, our faculty are dedicated to teaching and research. They are constantly working to improve their teaching methods and to produce new knowledge. Your gift in support of NEOMED faculty can help them do more of this important work.

Specifically, here are some ways your gift could support faculty work:

• Quality of education. When faculty members have the resources they need to conduct their research and teach effectively, they are able to provide students with a more enriching and valuable educational experience.
• Faculty recruitment. When potential faculty members see that a university has a strong commitment to supporting its faculty, they are more likely to join that university.
• Faculty startup funds. When new researchers and/or faculty members start at NEOMED, donor funds help underwrite lab equipment, research/teaching materials, assistants/post-docs or other essentials that are necessary to support teaching and elevate research. NEOMED research is active in such areas as diabetes, heart disease, hearing loss, Parkinson’s disease, Alzheimer’s disease and more.
