Categories: Faculty PrideDr. M. Petrea Cober, Pharm.D., BCNSP, BCPPS, FASPEN, is a nationally renowned expert in Pediatrics and Nutrition Support, but don’t just take our word for it! Dr. Cober was recently awarded Fellow status in the American Society of Parenteral and Enteral Nutrition! This is the highest honor bestowed on members of this interprofessional organization, signifying sustained excellence, mentorship, innovation and engagement at the national level. She joins a short list of pharmacists, physicians, nurses, and dieticians that are leaders in education, practice, research and service related to nutrition support. Dr. Cober joined NEOMED after spending 3 years on faculty at the University of Michigan College of Pharmacy. She is the Section Lead for Specialty Practice in the Department of Pharmacy Practice and the Clinical Pharmacy Coordinator for the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at Akron Children’s Hospital. You can often find Dr. Cober rounding in the NICU, delivering exceptional lectures on campus, precepting learners or in the pages of high-impact medical journals. Congratulations, Dr. Cober!
