Third- and Fourth-Year Students Inducted into national Medical Honor Society

Northeast Ohio Medical University recently held a banquet to induct 27 third- and fourth-year College of Medicine students into the prestigious Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society, Zeta Chapter of Ohio. An additional eight alumni were recognized as honorary inductees.

Applicants are evaluated based on academic performance, leadership, service, research and professionalism.

The NEOMED Zeta chapter AOA selection represents outstanding student achievement, said Anita Pokorny, assistant dean of students and AOA NEOMED liaison.
