American College of Surgeons to Honor NEOMED Alumnus

A Northeast Ohio Medical University-trained physician who has served throughout the COVID-19 pandemic will soon be named a fellow of the American College of Surgeons. Stephen Jones, M.D. (’10), will be honored at a virtual convocation ceremony in October.

The Alliance, Ohio native told the Alliance Review how gratifying it is to practice surgery, noting, “In my opinion, there is no better profession in this world.”
