A Learning Specialist supports medical, pharmacy, dental, and graduate students in developing effective strategies for the demands of rigorous health professions education. Learning Specialists work with students to strengthen academic skills, address barriers to learning, and develop approaches that support greater independence and success throughout their program.

Executive Functioning Skills support medical, pharmacy, dental, and graduate students in managing the organization, planning, and self-regulation demands of rigorous academic programs. Students can receive support with time management, prioritization, task initiation, organization, maintaining focus, managing competing responsibilities, and creating realistic study plans. The goal is to help students build practical strategies that improve consistency, independence, and follow-through across coursework, clinical responsibilities, and exam preparation.

Executive Functioning support may include:
