Infectious disease experts recently discussed the variety and availability of tests for COVID-19 with pharmacypracticenews.com.
Among those interviewed was Thomas File Jr., M.D., the president of the Infectious Diseases Society of America, who is a professor of internal medicine and the chair of the Infectious Disease Section at Northeast Ohio Medical University.
Dr. File also serves as the chair of the Infectious Disease Division and co-director of the antimicrobial stewardship program at Summa Health in Akron, Ohio.
