Richard Wardrop, M.D., Ph.D., joins NEOMED beginning today as chief medical officer and clinical physician at NEOMED Health Care.
Dr. Wardrop is now accepting new patients in his new position.
Dr. Wardrop is a nationally recognized leader in medical education and clinical practice with extensive experience in academic medicine, leadership and patient care. He has served in key leadership roles at several prestigious institutions, including University Hospitals, Cleveland Clinic and University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
Dr. Wardrop is a professor of Internal Medicine and Pediatrics at NEOMED and currently serves as chair of the Internal Medicine specialty Board of the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM), reflecting his national leadership in advancing the field of medicine.
