We are excited to kick off the 2026 Open Enrollment season and share important details about your benefits.
As President Langell mentioned during his monthly update for October, effective Jan. 1, 2026, NEOMED is changing medical insurance carriers from AultCare to Medical Mutual! Please make note of the open sessions listed at the bottom of this email where HR staff have set aside dedicated times to answer any questions you may have about this transition and enrollment.
To help you make the most informed decision about your benefits, we hosted Kickoff Presentations on Monday, Nov. 3, to review what’s new, understand more about the HDHP Plans and, if now might be the right time to consider moving away from the PPO, answer your questions. As a reminder, the changes you elect during Open Enrollment will be effective Jan. 1, 2026. The sessions were offered in-person and via Zoom, and recordings of the presentation will be available if you are unable to participate on Nov. 3. In addition, several informational open sessions will offered through Nov. 14.
Open Enrollment Instructions
- From www.neomed.edu select Staff or Faculty, then log in to Banner Self Service
- Click on the Open Enrollment button to enter the open enrollment portal
- Review your current benefits and make election changes
- Confirm your 2026 elections by clicking the certification button
- Click the submit complete
- You will receive a confirmation email, please review for accuracy and keep for your records
Open Sessions
We will host several Open Sessions to assist you with your online Open Enrollment, the transition to Medical Mutual, answer any Open Enrollment related questions, and ensure your enrollment is completed successfully. Location: Room G204 North/South
