Rules for Theme Park Reopenings Spark Debate

Government guidance was recently issued on how, and when, California theme parks may open, with respect to COVID-19 concerns. Yahoo Life asked experts including Richard Watkins, M.D., an infectious disease physician and professor of internal medicine at Northeast Ohio Medical University, to comment.

“Any time you are in a crowd, you are at a high risk of getting infected. Remember, there are many people who are asymptomatic and are spreading COVID-19. I don’t think the risk is worth it,” said Dr. Watkins.
