Philanthropy week cards hung by students

NEOMED Philanthropy Week Begins Today

March 5, 2018

All week long, we’re educating students and employees about the difference donors make to the University.  Join us March 5 – 9 between 11:30 a.m. and 1 p.m. in the NEW Center atrium for our third annual Philanthropy Week. Activities will recognize and celebrate all the ways in which philanthropy makes an impact at NEOMED.

Monday, March 5: I Believe in NEOMED Day

Stop by the NEW Center and tell us why you believe in NEOMED. Write down what you love about NEOMED on a postcard that will be displayed outside the Watanakunakorn Auditorium. Members of our Employee Campaign Committee will be choosing their favorites. Winners will receive an Amazon gift card.

Tuesday, March 6: 5 Under 5 Day
Look for information showcasing five NEOMED alumni who graduated in the past five years. What are they doing today and why do they believe it’s important to stay involved with their alma mater?

Wednesday, March 7: Get the Scoop on Philanthropy Day
Stop by and write a note to thank a Blue Fund donor for supporting NEOMED. While you’re at it, enjoy some free ice cream!

Thursday, March 8: Find a Philanthropist Day
Stop by the NEW Center at noon to pick up the first clue that will take you on a philanthropy scavenger hunt. The first group to find Nate at the end will win a special prize, but all who complete the scavenger hunt will receive a “FAN Club” t-shirt!

Don’t have enough time to complete the scavenger hunt? As you go about your day, take a selfie with the giant tags on items at NEOMED that are here because of the philanthropy of others. Post your picture on social media at #PWeekNEOMED. Show us your picture and get an “I Believe in NEOMED” t-shirt!

Friday, March 9: I Believe in NEOMED Day II
Employees, wear your “I Believe in NEOMED” buttons. Students, wear your new “FAN Club” shirts. See just how many people believe!
