Medicine Students Featured in The Ohio Family Physician
“The cornerstone of primary care.”
That’s how third-year College of Medicine student AuBree LaForce sees family medicine – her focus at Northeast Ohio Medical University.
“I love how our specialty is able to adapt during times like these. Whether it is setting up virtual visits or taking panicked calls, we are willing and able to continue serving our patients,” she told The Ohio Family Physician, published by the Ohio Academy of Family Physicians.
LaForce was featured in an article about physician careers, along with Laura Lininger, M.D., who graduated from NEOMED in 2020. Dr. Lininger told the magazine, “The current environment has reinforced my decision to go into family medicine.”
