What might be the effects on mental health from a second wave of the COVID-19 pandemic?

Among experts consulted, Richard Watkins, M.D., a Northeast Ohio Medical University associate professor of internal medicine who specializes in infectious disease, told Yahoo!News, “It will depend on if we see a spike in infections after the reopenings. I think what we’ll see is much more precision-guided social distancing recommendations and not another type of shutdown if cases get out of hand in any part of the country.”
