Life Science Research That Questions the Rules
Middle school and high school science teachers are invited to learn about “Mysteries of Muscle Control: Life Science Research That Questions the Rules” from the bird research of Tobin Hieronymus, Ph.D., an assistant professor in the Department of Anatomy and Neurobiology of the College of Medicine at Northeast Ohio Medical University.
Dr. Hieronymus will guide participants through his research on voluntary and involuntary muscle control in birds. The event will be held via Zoom from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Wednesday, June 16. It is presented by the Cleveland Museum of National History with Kent State University and NEOMED.
This life science educator workshop is funded by the National Science Foundation Early-concept Grants for Exploratory Research (EAGER).
