In the News: Kevin Fuschetto, Pharm.D., discusses costs of insulin with Crain’s Cleveland Business

Insulin can cost individuals with diabetes hundreds of dollars a month, with the uninsured and underinsured bearing the greatest burden.

“For those two groups, insulin prices have become outright unmanageable,” said Kevin Fuschetto, Pharm.D., assistant professor of pharmacy practice and director of clinical services for NEOvations Pharmacy Services, in a recent interview with Crain’s Cleveland Business. “And obviously, this is a medication that patients can’t go without.”

Dr. Fuschetto is board certified in advanced diabetes management by the American Association of Diabetes Educators.
