Home for the Holidays — or Not? Advice from the CDC

Even as the weather cools, COVID-19 rates have been heating up. Yahoo Sports asked the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) for advice on how to safely navigate holiday celebrations.

Among non-CDC experts also asked to comment was Richard Watkins, M.D., an infectious disease physician and professor of internal medicine. Dr. Watkins noted that asking family members to be tested before a visit might sound like a good idea, but observed, “What is to say that you aren’t exposed after a negative test?”
