The Office of the Provost, in partnership with the College of Medicine, College of Pharmacy, College of Graduate Studies and Bitonte College of Dentistry, is requesting nominations for University and College Standing Committees for the upcoming academic year.
Faculty can view all available committee openings and submit their nominations through a centralized web-based form. In accordance with the Faculty Workload Policy, department chairs will have the opportunity to approve faculty nominations before they are reviewed by the respective Nominating and Membership Committees.
Guiding Principles for Faculty Nominations
- Membership terms are three years unless otherwise specified.
- All faculty members with a current faculty appointment may put forth a nomination.
- All nominations are self- nominations. This includes faculty who wish to continue their service on a committee for an additional term.
- Department chairs are encouraged to promote these opportunities to faculty and have them submit a self-nomination.

The deadline for submission is 5 p.m. on Wednesday, April 15, 2026.
