Using your health insurance at NEOMED

NEOMED students are required to carry health insurance (see options). NEOMED Health Care will submit claims to all insurance companies, regardless of our network participation.

NEOMED Health Care is a network provider for most major insurance plans, including Aetna, Anthem BC/BS, CIGNA, Medical Mutual of Ohio, UnitedHealthcare and many others. NEOMED Health Care, through its arrangement with University Hospitals, submits claims to all insurance plans, regardless of network participation. Please bring your insurance card to your appointment.

Please bring a copy of your insurance card and student ID with you when you come to receive any type of health services from us.

Copays, coinsurance and deductibles

Patients are responsible for copays, deductibles and co-insurance, as well as any non-covered charges, as indicated on the insurance explanation of payment. Patients may also receive a separate bill for lab services from Quest Diagnostics or services performed outside of NEOMED Health Care.
