Young People and COVID-19

Young people’s attitudes toward COVID-19 have played a role in their coming down with the disease, say experts who explore the reasons for an uptick in cases in a Yahoo!Life article.

If the trend of more young people being diagnosed were to continue, leading to infections of older adults, the result could be restrictions on everyone, notes the article. Richard Watkins, M.D., an infectious disease physician in Akron, Ohio, and a professor of internal medicine at Northeast Ohio Medical University, says such data could increase the chance that a second shut-down would be necessary.
