Volunteers team up with students to practice clinical skills

Entering an exam room for the first time can be intimidating for young pharmacists and physicians. With the help of community members trained to play the roles of patients at NEOMED’s Wasson Center for Clinical Skills Training, Assessment and Scholarship, students learn and hone their clinical skills and bedside manner long before that official first day.  Cleveland.com’s Julie Washington recently visited the Wasson Center to get a first-hand look at the simulation facility and talk with some of its Standardized Patients.
