Dr. Kendalle Cobb

NEOMED VITALS series to feature Cleveland Clinic Associate Chief of Staff Kendalle Cobb, M.D.

NEOMED will continue its latest season of VITALS with featured speaker Kendalle Cobb, M.D., associate chief of staff for Cleveland Clinic, at noon Thursday, Oct. 5, via Zoom.

Since being appointed to her role in 2021, Dr. Cobb has focused on recruitment and retention of physicians, with a specific focus on those traditionally underrepresented in medicine. She also serves on the Diversity, Inclusion and Racial Equity Council. Her responsibilities include helping the enterprise measure patient health disparities.

Dr. Cobb graduated from Harvard University with a bachelor’s degree in history and earned her medical degree from George Washington University in Washington, D.C. She completed her family medicine residency at Kaiser Foundation Hospital in Fontana, California.

The virtual event is free and open to the public. Continuing education credits are available for medical professionals who attend VITALS.

Convening thought leaders

Each month, VITALS features a diverse range of disruptive approaches by innovative leaders in the medical sector. Past speakers include Karen Knudsen, Ph.D., president of the American Cancer Society, and Frank Papay, M.D., chairman of dermatology and plastic surgery at the Cleveland Clinic who led the surgical team that conducted America’s first face transplant. The 2023-24 VITALS schedule includes prominent leaders such as Amy Acton, M.D., the former director of the Ohio Department of Health, and Nina F. Schor, M.D., Ph.D., NIH deputy director for Intramural Research.

Continuing education credits
