Sara Whittingham, M.D., will share her story as a physician, athlete, mother, veteran and patient with Parkinson’s disease on TODAY with Hoda and Jenna. The story, centered on Dr. Whittingham’s invitation to participate in the Ironman competition in Kona, Hawaii, on Oct. 14, will air Friday, Oct. 6, between 10-10:30 a.m. on NBC affiliates.
Dr. Whittingham is clinical assistant professor of surgery at NEOMED and anesthesiologist at Cleveland Clinic.
