Tim Timken Appointed to Board of Trustees

Ohio Gov. Mike DeWine has appointed Ward J. “Tim” Timken Jr., chief executive officer of McKinley Strategies, to serve a nine-year appointment as a board trustee at Northeast Ohio Medical University. His term begins Sept. 22, 2021, and ends Sept. 21, 2030.

The chief executive officer of McKinley Strategies, Timkin is the managing partner of the firm’s general business consulting. He also oversees and works across other functions of the business, such as government affairs. Before co-founding McKinley Strategies, Timken was the chairman, chief executive officer and president of TimkenSteel Corporation. Prior to his time with TimkenSteel, he served as executive chairman and CEO of The Timken Company where he led a strategy that resulted in more than tripling the stock price during his tenure.

Timken holds a bachelor’s degree from Georgetown University and a Master of Business Administration degree from the University of Virginia’s Darden School of Business.
