The Langell Listening Tour

To kick off his presidency, John Langell, M.D., Ph.D., will embark on a six-month listening tour with Northeast Ohio Medical University students, staff, faculty, alumni and friends.

The tour will serve as a way for NEOMED’s seventh president to familiarize himself with the community he will lead.

“I am excited to hear from those whose affinity, history and interest in NEOMED’s sustainability have been pivotal to our excellence. I look forward to rolling up my sleeves and joining you in working to ensure we remain a patient-centered and world-class health sciences university while building a more vibrant and sustainable future,” said Dr. Langell.

The new president succeeds Jay A. Gershen, D.D.S., Ph.D., who retired as of Sept. 30.
