Team NEO Recognizes President Gershen for Advancing Northeast Ohio

To kick off International Economic Development Corporation’s National Economic Development Week, Team NEO honored Northeast Ohio’s regional economic development partners at an event titled NEO Rising: Celebrating Today. Building Tomorrow.

On Thursday, May 2, Team NEO recognized Northeast Ohio Medical University President Jay A. Gershen, D.D.S., Ph.D., as one of three individuals who helped advance Northeast Ohio in 2018.

The event, held at Embassy Suites in Independence, Ohio, featured Governor Mike DeWine as its keynote speaker.

Tracey Nichols, director of financial services, Project Management Consultants LLC, and Patrick Kelly, director of economic development, FirstEnergy, were also honored as regional economic development champions.

Team NEO is a business development organization focused on creating jobs for Northeast Ohio’s residents.
