Student Chosen for Film Festival Panel

Erin Burrier, a second-year Rural Pathway student in the Northeast Ohio Medical University College of Medicine, will participate in a City Club/Cleveland International Film Festival 43 FilmForum panel discussion following the April 5 screening of a film called The Providers.

The film follows three physicians working in a critically underserved area of rural New Mexico.

After the film, moderator Marlene Harris-Taylor, a reporter and producer for ideastream®, will lead the panelists to discuss “How should we serve the underserved?”

The panelists will be:

  • Erin Burrier, second-year NEOMED College of Medicine Rural Pathway student
  • John R. Corlett, president and executive director, The Center for Community Solutions
  • Laura Green, film director
  • Anna Moot-Levin, film director

The film will be shown at 4:25 p.m. Friday, April 5, at Tower City Cinemas in Cleveland.
