Sara Whittingham, M.D., shared her story as a physician, athlete, mother, veteran and patient with Parkinson’s disease on the Oct. 6 TODAY with Hoda and Jenna. The story centered on Dr. Whittingham’s invitation to participate in the Ironman competition in Kona, Hawaii, on Oct. 14.
Dr. Whittingham is clinical assistant professor of surgery at NEOMED and anesthesiologist at Cleveland Clinic.
