A pilot four-week elective has been designed for fourth-year medicine students who are pursuing residency in general surgery or a surgical subspecialty.
M4 Transition to Surgery Residency Elective with Surgery Anatomy will be held March 24-April 18, 2025.
The goal of this elective is to prepare future surgeons for their roles as surgical interns in a safe setting. Participants will acquire clinical skills and gain practical knowledge with the goals of enhancing patient care and patient safety.
