Congratulations to the 20 fourth-year students in the College of Pharmacy who matched into postgraduate year one (PGY1) residency in the 2025 ASHP Resident Match Program.
Additionally, six NEOMED alumni matched into PGY2 specialized pharmacy residency positions in ambulatory care, critical care, medication use safety and psychiatry.
The ASHP Resident Match Program helps applicants obtain positions in residency programs of their choice, and helps programs obtain applicants of their choice. It is like matching programs used in other health professions, including medicine, dentistry and others.
The pharmacy match is conducted in two phases. Phase I was held March 19. Phase 2 was held April 23.
