NEXT ON VITALS: Hal Paz

As the leader of seven health science colleges and Chancellor for Health Affairs at The Ohio State University (OSU) , as well as CEO of the $4 billion Wexner Medical Center enterprise in Columbus, Ohio, Hal Paz, M.D., occupies the worlds of both medicine and business. 

Dr. Paz will speak at 5 p.m. Thursday, April 1, on Northeast Ohio Medical University’s VITALS: Visionary Health Leadership in Action speaker series.

Over 17 minutes, Dr. Paz will have the opportunity to speak on any of the VITALS topics: value-based, innovation, technology, advocacy, leadership, service. A question-and-answer session moderated by Monica Robins, senior health correspondent for WKYC-TV, will follow. 

Among his past positions, Dr. Paz has served as the chief medical officer at Aetna; president and CEO of the Penn State Hershey Health System; dean of the College of Medicine at Pennsylvania State University; and dean of the Robert Wood Johnson Medical School.
