NEOMED Students Sponsor Free Health and Screening Fair

Northeast Ohio Medical University and University of Akron students will  work together to host the Akron Community Health Fair April 28 at St. Bernard Catholic Church, in Akron, Ohio.

NEOMED students will provide free screenings for blood pressure, diabetes and visual acuity, as well as free tests for obesity and HIV, while UA students serve as Spanish translators. Free health consultations with a physician will also be available.

The event is sponsored in part by NEOMED’s Latino Medical Student Association.
