As cases of novel coronavirus continue to be rise, it begs the question — is the coronavirus a pandemic?

Richard Watkins, M.D., a Northeast Ohio Medical University associate professor of internal medicine who specializes in infectious disease, says not yet.

“If infection control practices are effective, then the probability of a pandemic for the novel coronavirus is low,” Dr. Watkins told Yahoo! Lifestyle in a recent interview.
