NEOMED Grad Shares COVID-19 Experience with New York Times

Northeast Ohio Medical University alumnus Andres Maldonado, M.D. (’17), is a third-year emergency medicine resident at a hospital in the Bronx, who recently came face-to-face with COVID-19.

A New York Times article, “A Young Doctor, Fighting for His Life,” describes Dr. Maldonado’s journey from fighting for his life in the ICU to recently returning to work.
