NEOMED Faculty Receives Family Medicine Scholar Award

Stacey Gardner-Buckshaw, Ph.D., has been named as one of 10 national recipients of the Society of Teachers of Family Medicine Foundation’s 2019 New Faculty Scholar Award.

The director of community engagement and assistant professor in NEOMED’s Department of Family and Community Medicine was recognized by the Foundation for her outstanding leadership potential.

The STFM provides funding to 10 members who have taught two to four years as full-time faculty to attend the STFM Annual Spring Conference. This year, the conference will be held in Toronto, April 27-May 1.
