NEOMED Clinical Professor of Internal Medicine Joins Covington Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation

Nicholas Proia, M.D., a Northeast Ohio Medical University clinical professor of internal medicine, recently joined Covington Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation, a 65-bed post-acute care nursing home in East Palestine, Ohio.
In a recent Salem News article, the care center noted, “We have always provided advanced pulmonary rehabilitation and recovery services, however now collaborating directly with Dr. Proia we are able take our individualized plans to the next level; allowing us to provide the most advanced and medically sound interventions and rehabilitation services to those in need of pulmonary management in a comfortable, state of the art center, including but not limited to, advanced tracheotomy care and ventilator care services.”
