NEOMED Alumnus Elected as President of the American Academy of Otolaryngology–Head and Neck Surgery
A 1985 Northeast Ohio Medical University College of Medicine graduate has been elected as president of the American Academy of Otolaryngology–Head and Neck Surgery (AAO-HNS) and its Foundation.
Duane Taylor, M.D. (’85), the first African-American physician to hold the position, will serve a one-year term.
In a recent press release by AAO-HNS, Dr. Taylor noted, “I am truly humbled and honored by this opportunity to serve as President of this organization. We are all committed to delivering the best possible care in our area of the Ear, Nose and Throat and the head and neck with greatest knowledge and compassion.”
Dr. Taylor currently serves as the medical director of Le Visage ENT & Facial Plastic Surgery in Bethesda, Maryland.
