NEOMED Alumna Serves on LGBTQ Health Care Team

Summa Health, a Northeast Ohio Medical University hospital partner, recently introduced its Pride Clinic for the lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and questioning (LGBTQ) community – and a 2009 College of Medicine graduate is helping lead the way.

Sarah Tarter, M.D. (’09), a NEOMED assistant professor of internal medicine, serves on the hospital’s LGBTQ Health team.

The Pride Clinic is located at 1260 Independence Blvd. in Akron. It offers appointments several days a week.
