NEOMED Alumna Named to Crain’s Cleveland Business’s 2020 Women of Note List

Northeast Ohio Medical University alumna Sandra Hong, M.D. (’97), is among 15 women selected by a panel of Crain’s Cleveland Business editors for the publication’s 2020 Women of Note list. The honorees are being recognized for their dedication and achievement to and throughout Northeast Ohio.

Dr. Hong, who specializes in allergy and clinical immunology, serves as the director of Cleveland Clinic’s Food Allergy Center, which she helped to create and open, and as the hospital system’s southern regional medical director.

She also recently helped launch the Cleveland Clinic Medical Observation and Scribe Training (MOST) Fellowship in collaboration with Stanford University for the 2019-2020 academic year.

In addition to her roles at Cleveland Clinic, Dr. Hong serves as a NEOMED clinical assistant professor of internal medicine.
