National Brain Bee Canceled

The National Brain Bee competition scheduled to be held at NEOMED March 27-29 has been canceled, due to concerns associated with the transmission of the coronavirus (COVID-19).

Dana Peterson, Ph.D., associate professor in the Department of Anatomy and Neurobiology, leads and oversees the Brain Bee activities at NEOMED, which involve coaching high school students to learn about the brain and inspiring them to pursue neuroscience careers. Dr. Peterson said that rescheduling the event will be considered after April 3.
