Muscle Pain and COVID-19

Researchers continue to explore symptoms of COVID-19, including myalgia — defined by Johns Hopkins University as “muscle aches and pain, which can involve ligaments, tendons and fascia, the soft tissues that connect muscles, bones and organs.”

An article in Express, a publication in the United Kingdom, looks at reports from the  World Health Organization (WHO) and the National Institutes of Health.

The post includes comments from Richard Watkins, M.D., an infectious disease physician and professor of internal medicine at Northeast Ohio Medical University.
