Memorial Service for Body Donors Postponed

The Memorial Service for Body Donors originally scheduled for April 13 has been postponed, due to uncertainties associated with COVID-19.

Northeast Ohio Medical University gratefully acknowledges the important educational contributions that have been made through these donations. When the situation with COVID-19 becomes clearer, NEOMED plans to reschedule the service and contact the loved ones with details.

Because NEOMED is following strict guidelines in accordance with the Ohio governor’s office, the Ohio Department of Health, and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), it cannot provide the remains of loved ones at this time. However, as circumstances allow, the University will provide the option of receiving a loved one’s remains before the rescheduled Memorial Service.
