“Medical Marijuana: Its Benefits and Risks” Discussed at Conference

Along with thought leaders from Duke University, Columbia University and additional institutions, Erik Messamore, M.D., Ph.D., spoke about his research into medical marijuana at the Samford University Healthcare Ethics and Law Conference held Sept. 6 in Birmingham, Alabama. “Medical Marijuana: Its Benefits and Risks” was the theme of this year’s conference.

Dr. Messamore is an associate professor of psychiatry and medical director of the Best Practices in Schizophrenia (BeST) Center at NEOMED.
