Katherine Tatar, M.D., FACP, receives Leonard Tow Humanism in Medicine Award

Congratulations to Katherine Tatar, M.D., FACP, who was selected by students in the College of Medicine to be the 2024 faculty recipient of the Leonard Tow Humanism in Medicine Award. This award, presented by the Arnold P. Gold Foundation, recognizes graduating medical students and faculty members who are exemplars of humanism in the care of patients.

Dr. Tatar is a core faculty member in Internal Medicine and the Internal Medicine Clerkship Director at Summa Health- Akron City Hospital.

Dr. Tatar will receive the award at the Virtuous Healer Honor Society induction ceremony on Feb. 28. She will deliver the keynote address during the event.
