NEOMED President Dr. John Langell was featured among Ohio’s university presidents with a military background in an article in the Canton Repository. Dr. Langell is a veteran of the U.S. Air Force and served as Commander of Air Force Health Care Facilities as a reservist.
The article noted that the U.S. military’s culture is deeply rooted in leadership development, so it stands to reason that people would assume leadership roles following their service.
In the interview, Dr. Langell spoke on servant leadership grounded in integrity, transparency and trust.
“Those qualities are what transform a leader from good to great and allow a team to reach its highest potential,” he said.
